Key Highlights:
Opti9 Observr aims to prevent Ransomware and similar attacks by detecting the presence of attackers in enterprise backup and replication environments. This effort is even more crucial considering the findings of the Veeam’s 2023 Ransomware Trends Report, which underscores the need for robust data protection.
This report reviews the activities that the CyPROS team conducted. The test simulated a common Enterprise environment with Veeam® Backup & ReplicationTM server installed within the IT infrastructure, protecting multiple workloads including VMware VMs and physical servers, backing up data locally, to offsite cloud storage via Veeam’s Cloud Connect protocol, and replicating VMs to a disaster-recovery site.
