A Message to Our Clients: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

March 6, 2020 | By Ryan Felkel

To all of our valued clients:

In light of recent developments regarding the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, now known as COVID-19, we would like to inform you that Webair is actively monitoring the current situation. We are preparing our organization to ensure our data centers and services remain uninterrupted through our readiness plan.

Following information put forth from the World Health Organization (WHO), the situation at/or around our global facilities is normal.

Providing Business Continuity Through Cloud Computing

Webair is regularly reviewing and modifying our Business Continuity Program and are confident that we’re prepared to respond to an infectious disease. At this time, we have begun preparing and implementing our readiness plan to ensure our services, support, and facilities remain functional during this event.

A global disaster such as this presents an unfavorable opportunity to dive deeper into your cloud security to ensure that its security and sharing capabilities are in tact. Currently, visiting our data centers is not limited; however, we encourage our current and potential clients to reach out to us directly over email and phone if there are any critical updates to the vulnerability of the virus.

In the event that there are any changes regarding the ability to enter any of our facilities, you will be notified. To ensure the safety of our clients and our staff, we request that you take additional precautions when visiting any of our data center facilities. We kindly ask that you:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap & water or use our alcohol-based hand sanitizers located on-site
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your arm when coughing or sneezing
  • Refrain from entering our facilities if you feel sick to ensure the safety of other clients and our staff (Webair can provide remote hands services at a discounted rate during this event)

Staying Updated on COVID-19

We are committed to providing the best level of service possible and will continue to do so as we are guided by the WHO and other local authorities. We do not expect any interruptions during this event and will ensure the best efforts are put forth to support our clients.
