Calling upon years of experience managing and running thousands of Linux and Unix managed services platforms, they will provide examples and share their insights from both a business and technical perspective.
“The threat of DDoS attacks is very real and it’s critical to acknowledge and combat the risks associated with cloud computing,” explains Mr. Brody. “DDoS attacks are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated with each passing day, making it more important than ever to remain on the cutting edge of protection and prevention utilizing comprehensive mitigation strategies. I’m looking forward to sharing my personal experience to help others become more educated when attempting to keep their cloud computing environments protected.”
At IMN’s Provider Forum on Data Centers and Cloud Services Infrastructure (East) on Thursday, June 9 at 2:45 PM, Mr. Brody will participate on a panel titled “Operating Cost Mitigation/Reduction Strategies: DCIM, Next Gen. Data Centers & Best Practices in Financial Management.” Joining executives from Development Consulting Services, Global Power Supply, North American Access Technologies, and the Stafford County Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Mr. Brody will discuss methods for realizing increased ROI within a data center and cloud services environment through cost-benefit analysis and identifying and addressing common operating inefficiencies.
“There are many opportunities available to data center owners and operators and cloud service providers that have the potential to reduce major costs, both CapEx and OpEx,” shares Mr. Brody. “By identifying optimal solutions based on current data, including retrofit solutions, new builds and more, companies can determine ways to reduce expenditures.”
