What information can the Status page provide me?

Opti9 uses Statuspage to provide our clients, partners and resellers with visibility into:

  • Operational state of Opti9 services

  • Incidents and Outages impacting, or potentially impacting, Opti9 services

  • Maintenance activities impacting, or potentially impacting, Opti9 services

Opti9 encourages you to subscribe to updates from Statuspage, which will enable you to receive push updates from Opti9 including:

  • Maintenance notifications and updates

  • Incident notifications and updates

Click the Subscribe button at the top of the page, you’ll be presented with several options for subscribing to updates, including E-mail, Slack and Teams. Note that depending on the subscription method, there may be additional steps to verify your subscription and select which components you wish to subscribe to.

Investigating  A potential issue has been identified, our teams are performing initial analysis

Identified - We have confirmed an issue and are working toward a resolution.

Monitoring - We believe the issue has been resolved and are monitoring for confirmation.

Resolved - The issue is fully resolved.

Degraded PerformanceThe component may not be operating normally.

Partial Outage The component is failing intermittently or for a subset of clients

Major Outage  - The component is not operational for all users.

In general, notifications are sent when an incident is created, updated, or resolved.  For maintenance activities, a notification is sent:

  • When the maintenance is scheduled

  • 1 hour before the start of the maintenance window

  • At the start of the maintenance window

  • At the end of the maintenance window

Our technical support team (support@opti9tech.com) can assist with providing guidance on which component(s) you should subscribe to, based on your services with Opti9.

A single incident or maintenance activity will only generate a single set of notifications, regardless of the number of components that are impacted

As a first step, ensure that you are only subscribed to components that are relevant to your services with Opti9.  If you are still receiving too many notifications, you can explore alternate subscription methods (such as Slack, Teams) or contact our support team (support@opti9tech.com) to review in detail.

At the bottom of any alert or email notification, click Manage your subscription, where you can check or uncheck options to subscribe or unsubscribe from all updates.
